Managing Partner, Strategic Branding Matters LLC
Leslie Gibbs is the CEO of Strategic Branding Matters LLC and specializes in strategy, brand management and marketing. Ms. Gibbs started her career in brand management at Procter and Gamble and has since held leadership marketing positions at LensCrafters, Bonne Bell Cosmetics and Aspire Brands Cosmetics. Most recently, she held the roles of Chief Marketing Officer at Consumer Safety Technology, Western Dental and Modern Vascular. She received several national marketing awards over the years including selection as a ONCON Top 50 Marketer of the year in 2021 and 2022. She transitioned from full time corporate life (1989-2022) to start her own consulting firm in 2022.
Ms. Gibb’s education includes a BBA in Marketing with a minor in Psychology from Ohio University’s Honors Tutorial Program in Athens, OH. She also earned an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Business in Evanston, IL and studied Digital Marketing through UCLA’s continuing education program.
She has a long history of public service history including serving as Executive Director of the Cleveland Artists Foundation and a Church Board of Trustees member at Fairmount Presbyterian Church in Cleveland Heights. She also served on a mission projects to build a hospital in the Dominican Republic and build affordable housing in Mexico. One of Ms. Gibson’s goals in starting her own company in 2022, was to dedicate more time to non-profit work and give back to her community. Leslie is married with two adult children and has one grandchild
