Genesis Torres, an East Los Angeles and San Gabriel Valley native, has been working with nonprofits since 2014. Ms. Torres majored in social work at Northwestern College and has a passion for helping others. In the years since her graduation, she has gained work experience in the fields of early childhood, domestic violence, homelessness, and volunteer management. A native Spanish speaker, she has a strong interest in supporting the well-being of marginalized communities.
